Petey is a very smart boy and a quick learner. He enjoys sitting with shelter volunteers after his walks and "people watching". As Petey needs to bond with that one special person, we feel he would do best being the only dog in a household with no children.
Petey is a Wire Haired Terrier/Jack Russell mix and was found living under a bus. He came to Bobbi and the Strays in the fall of 2008. Due to frustration from living in a cage, he has become possessive of his food, toys, and the crate that has been his home but once outside the shelter, Petey becomes a different dog. He is eager to please and needs an owner willing to lead. With time, he is sure to become a loyal friend.
